AWANA stands for “Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed” and comes from 2 Timothy 2:15. Through the mission of Awana, children are encouraged to grow in spiritual disciplines while reading the Bible, memorizing God's Word, and applying it to gain direction in their daily lives. We believe one of the most important gifts we can give to the next generation is a deep and meaningful knowledge of God’s Word. Awana partners with parents to instill that knowledge in the lives of their children, that they may believe in Christ and become all that He has planned for them.
