Food Service Manager
Libby Caviness is our Food Service Manager at Englewood Baptist Church. She is responsible for all of the areas that involve food in our church. This would include receptions, dinners, banquets and managing the Lighthouse Café.
Libby and her husband, Dean, have two sons, Heath and DJ.
Administrative Assistant for Pastoral Care Ministry & Prayer Ministry
Grace rejoined the Englewood Baptist Staff in October of 2009. Previously, Grace served on staff from 1996-1998 , then moved back to Virginia for two years before returning to Rocky Mount. God opened the door for her to return to a staff position where she served for 8 years, as the Administrative Assistant to Pastor Michael Cloer, and then as the Communications Director/Graphics Designer for EBC. After a one year sabbatical to take care of family needs in 2008, she is now the Administrative Assistant to Pastor Greg O’Neil, who serves as the Associate Pastor of Pastoral Care Ministries and Prayer. She is currently seeking her bachelor’s degree in graphics design at the Art Institute of Pittsburgh, Online Division and enjoys running a small part time photography business.Grace and her husband Jim were married in 1992 and have a daughter Vikki, who lives in Wilmington, NC.
Administrative Assistant to the Associate Pastor of Students

Carole serves as the part-time Administrative Assistant for her husband, Gene, in the students Ministry at Englewood Baptist. Gene and Carole have been married for 21 years and have 3 wonderful children - Aaron, 16, Hannah, 14 and Seth, 12.
Carole has a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Furman University and was a stay at home mom before joining the staff at Englewood. She is also a member of Englewood's Adult Celebration Choir.
Carole's favorite scripture is Jeremiah 29:11 which says, “11For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.”
Director of Weekday Education
Celia is the Director of Weekday Education at Englewood Baptist Church. She has served on staff in this position for 18 years. Celia and her staff of loving teachers provide a Christ-centered educational program that gives children a strong academic foundation based on Christian principles and beliefs.
Celia graduated from Meredith College and is married to her husband Kenny. They have one daughter, Tara.

Mark serves as the Technical Director at Englewood Baptist Church and has served on staff in this position for 5 years. Mark and his volunteers work to help clearly communicate God’s Word here at home and around the world.
Mark graduated from Western Carolina University and is married to his wife, Michelle. They have two daughters, Kristin and Bryan Claire.

Peggy German is the Receptionist for Englewood Baptist Church as well as the Administrative Assistant for our Prime Timer ministry.
Peggy is married to her husband Dave and they have 4 sons.

Julie has been with Englewood Baptist Church since June, 2004 and works with Pastor Jacob with BFG and Discipleship studies. She also assists in Women’s Ministry and planning of our East Coast Women’s Bible Conference. Julie is also involved in Englewood’s Celebration Choir and a Cancer Support Ministry called Sisterhood of Hope.
Julie Green graduated from Western Carolina University where she met her husband, Bryan and they were married in 1992. Both Bryan and Julie are native North Carolinians but lived out of state for 11 years. They have two wonderful children, Landon and Cassidy.
During Julie’s own battle with Breast Cancer, this continues to be a passage that is close to her heart.

Mark & Annie Hughes are our Facilities Housekeepers. They make sure our facilities are ready for each Worship service, BFG class, Wednesday activity and special event.
Mark & Annie have 4 children; Victoria, Ashley, Sam & Jordan.
Pianist and Administrative Assistant

Kristin accepted Christ as her Savior and Lord at the age of 9, and that same year began studying piano. A life-long church musician, she joined Englewood Baptist in 2003, and within a few months, became our full-time pianist, a position in which she continues to serve. Originally from northwest Ohio, Kristin began her college education at Ohio State University as a piano performance major. Life circumstances delayed completion of that degree, moving her to VA and then NC, where in 1999 - - three decades later - - she earned a BA in Elementary Education from Barton College. Kristin retired from NC public schools in 2011 after 20 years of service, and eventually transitioned into a full-time position here, currently serving as administrative assistant to the financial, media, and weekday education directors, as well as part-time receptionist duties. Kristin is the proud mother of three grown children: TJ Walker, a business manager in Columbia, SC and his wife, Kathryn, a nursing student, and Nathan Walker, a graduate student in choral conducting / vocal performance at Louisiana State University. Her favorite verse is Isaiah 41:13: “For I, the Lord thy God, will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, ‘Fear not; I will help thee.’ ”
Executive Assistant to the Senior Pastor

Dianna is the Executive Assistant to the Senior Pastor here at Englewood Baptist. She joined the staff in 1995 as the financial secretary and later became the financial administrator. In 2006, Dianna moved into her current position. She works primarily for the Senior Pastor, Dr. Michael Cloer, while providing support for his ministry needs as well as church-wide events.
Dianna and her husband Bill have one daughter, Paige.
Orchestra Director and Interim Worship Leader
Mark Stauffer is the Orchestra Director here at Englewood. He works full time leading Red Oak Middle Schools band. He and his wife Kim have three boys, Fuller, Andrew and Michael.

Holly Sullivan joined Englewood staff in January 2012 as the Administrative Assistant to the Worship Arts Ministry. Holly and her husband, Brent, got married in October 1994. They have 3 children – Kayla, McKenzie and Tyson.

Fynetta joined the staff of Englewood Baptist Church on February 26, 1986. Fynetta has served as an administrative assistant in all areas of ministry since serving at Englewood. She currently serves as the Administrative Assistant for Facility and Vehicle scheduling and requests. She also creates the weekly Bulletin and coordinates the HUGS Ministry, which includes all volunteers in the Host/ Hostess, Ushers, Greeters, Security and Setup Teams.
Fynetta and Bill have been married for 43 years, praise be to the Lord!
They are very blessed to have two grown, married children: Vanessa who is married to Brad Ipock and Will who is married to Kim. Their precious grandchildren include: William, Kielyn, Braleigh, Annslee, and Ethan. Each one of these grandchildren are an “answer to many prayers” and they bring great joy and happiness into their lives.
One of Fynetta’s favorite Bible verses is:
Isaiah 40:31: But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.
Administrative Assistant for Missions and Evangelism

Tracey joined the Englewood staff in December 2011 after 16+ years in the banking industry. She serves as the Administrative Assistant to the Pastor of Reaching and concentrates on outreach, evangelism and missions.
Tracey and her husband, James, married in July of 1998. They both surrendered their lives to Christ that same year, were baptized on the same day, and have sought His will for their lives ever since. Now, James and Tracey have great adventures locally & all over the world, as they live intentionally on mission with their King, making His name known to the ends of the earth!
They have 2 wonderful, grown sons named Matthew Ferrell and Matthew Watson.

Maintenance Assistant & Director of Conquerors Ministry
Phil Wheeler is the maintenance assistant working closely with Tommy Bulluck to maintain our facilities and grounds. Phil is also the Director of our Conquerors Ministry. A ministry to those recovering from alcohol & drug addictions.
Phil and his wife Debbie have two sons; Kyle and Seth.

Tiffany joined the Englewood Baptist Staff in 2011. She is the administrative assistant to Pastor Jordan, the Children’s Pastor, as well as Michelle Ferrell, the Preschool Director.
Tiffany married her husband, Nathan, in 2008. They lived at Cherry Point, NC while Nathan served his time in the United States Marine Corps. They moved back to Rocky Mount, NC in 2010. They have two sons, Ches and Eric.
Tiffany attended North Carolina State University.

Michelle accepted Christ as her Savior at the age of 13 during a revival meeting at her home church. In the years following her decision, she taught Awana, Girls in Action, Sunday School, and served wherever there was opportunity for God to use her many talents, including working with the children’s choir.
Michelle has been a member of Englewood Baptist since 2004, and has served faithfully since then in the adult choir, in the nursery, and on the decorating team.
Gifted with a keen sense of business and accounting practices, Michelle became manager of the EBC bookstore in 2009, and then made a seamless transition to Financial Administrator just three years later. She is currently responsible for the maintenance of all financial activities within this ministry.
Michelle has been married to her wonderful husband, Barry, for 34 years, They have one daughter, Joslyn.
